Initial eligibility for membership is either by the recommendation of a current member and/or submission of past training and playing experience. Provided a vacancy or need for your instrument exists, you will be provisionally accepted pending successful completion of either a probationary internship/evaluation period, usually one to three rehearsals, or an audition. Final acceptance and actual membership is obtained upon either successful completion of an audition or the internship, by the candidate's acceptance to the conditions of membership as stated in our Constitution and Bylaws and only with the final approval of the Music Director in consultation with appropriate section leaders. If a vacancy or need for your instrument does not currently exists, you will be placed on our sub/wait list.

To retain membership, all members shall, at all times, meet minimum playing standards established by the Music Director. There will be no discrimination on the basis of age, race, national origin, religion, gender or sexual orientation.
